Pay per click (PPC) is an internet advertising model used on websites, in which advertisers pay their host only when their ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Their are many search engines worldwide that operate this model the most commonly recognised and visited being, google, yahoo, bing "Did you know the most commonly search for keyword phrase in Northern Ireland in 2008 was "abc.com"
